Alaska is golden in the fall. Maybe that is why they call it the Golden State... oh wait, isnt that Calli? oh crap! I'm at the wrong lattitude... so that's why its so cold and there are no palm trees, hmmm... I the reason I say it is golden is that there are no desidious trees up here but birch, well, very few at least. So, in the fall, when they start to turn there is gold everywhere. And most of the grasses turn bright yellow, so when the sun shines on the fields they glow golden.

Well, I guess there arnt 'NO' palm trees, as I have 2 in my house now. I now have one 8' palm tree and one 4' palm tree, and one other cool little tree that I cant remember what kind it is. Anyhow, as this is my day off, I plan to do a lot of things 2day, clean the house... fun fun, repot my newest tree, and go to the 2nd hand store where I there was, at least last time I was there, a vidio recorder... perhaps it works, and then I will make a vidio to send home. The mountians look really pretty now because of all the snow. Especialy when the sun shines on them. The last few days the surf has been pretty good... well, I say good, I mean 3 feet... which is better than 6 inches... but I dont have a wet suit, nor a surfboard, so I'm stuck on the beach watching the ice cold waves. Better than stuck in the ice cold waves watching the beach.

Yes, I know it has been a long time sience my last post, but here is one!...

Well, I quit the job at Arbys because they pretty much gave me no hours (even though she said I would get 30-35) I got another job at a resturant in town called Dunkan House. Its mostly breakfast and lunch. Its the place where all the old fisherman(and the young ones) come in to sit and drink coffee and tell crazy stories. I also got another job with a landscaping company. I work wed-sat at the resturant, and monday and tuesday if they need me at the landscaping place, its called Dutch Boy. Tuesday this week I laid 1500 sq feet or so of sod. Hard work, but I got 100 bucks for 7 hours of work. I hope to get hired full time at Dutch Boy in the spring. Not much else has happend really. Tiff found a TV for 30$ and we somtimes watch movies. Its 3$ for 2 movies so thats a pretty good deal. The Bible study that we were going to decided to not start a church, so now we are church hunting, which stinks because most of the churches in this town are really wacked out. We went to a Babtist church last sunday, It was interesting, but... it was well, Babtist. Anyhow... David, you would love the roads up here, they are all like the NFS "Alaska Highway" track. Exactly like it, its scary how close they are. It stinks that I have to drive a big lumbering jeep around, instead of a Golf. Oh well, some day...
